I agree with you on gay marriage -- it doesn't threaten anyone or anything and I wish people would be honest and admit that their opposition to it is rooted in homophobia. That's really the only explanation. But in some ways it helps to have someone like Santorum articulating those views on the national stage -- as opposed to someone, you know, intelligent.
