The only hockey game I ever went to was up in Rochester (home of Genessee Cream Ale) back in the mid-80's. Ronnie Reagan was the president and came to the game to give a speech. The team was called the Rochester Americans, Amercs for short. During his speech, Ronnie flubbled the name of the team (how hard was it to remember "Americans" for god's sake!!) and called them the 'Mercs. We never called them anything else after that...with a chuckle!! Driving a Zamboni would be awesome fun.
