The group we had used for years just plucked our nerves--surly office staff, no one answering the phone, see a different person in the practice every time you go there, etc. I actually like my endo. I've been going to him for years. It's funny, but a friend went to him for awhile and despised him. He's always been attentive and good at explaining things. The doctor and nurse practitioner I see for my annual GYN visit are also great (they switch off--sometimes I see the doctor and sometimes I see the NP). No this is a general practitioner/family doctor. I have yet to find a good doctor in this town. I had one, who after I spent an entire weekend suffering the ill affects (gory details) of a wrongly prescribed antibiotic (my sister is a doctor and she told me this antibiotic is prescribed for skin infections. I had a sinus infection) told me to remind him next time I am prescribed a med, to not include the insert listing side affects. Asshole! Is this a new endocrinologist?
