I did send my first text yesterday. It's all about the baby steps (ha). I don't know that we'll be consumed though. When the better-half and I were dating he had to wear a pager and it always seemed to go off in the middle of Saturday night and then he'd have to talk to the idiot who was working the night shift. I think because of this we both don't like the idea of letting a tool put a leash on us. I can honestly say I haven’t looked at the phone at all today. I did send my first text yesterday. Jim's phone is his business line and personal line and he can't seem to separate the two, which would normally be fine but when we go out, I'd like to not have to compete with it. I left mine off all day today because I just hate it when people talk on their personal phones at work (maybe it's just personal calls that go on forever that I don't like). He gets a lot of emails because it's his work number and he's constantly on that thing. Seems to me there should be work hours and leisure hours (like when we are out to dinner).
