There were several times during the game where I didn't understand a call. It was the first game I've been to where they've broken one of the glass panels. They ended the 2nd period early so they could replace it. The Zamboni is one of my favorite things too. I have to admit that I know practically nothing about hockey and we only see one game a year. The team was known as the Rochester Americans and were called the Amercs for short. We went to a game when Ronald Reagan was there campaigning/ speaking and he botched the name of the team. Forever after, we called then the "Mercs. Leave it to Ronnie to mess up the name "Americans"! I preferred the Zamboni to the game, truthfully.
