One was as big around as someone's large thumb (I have skinny fingers) and the others were pretty "regular" sized. We ate those pretty quickly. We cut another thumb sized one last night and there are several more of various sizes that should be good to go by the weekend. The first cooked batch was awesome. We cut four. They are hard to find here and we're lazy and don't make our own nearly often enough. It was really sad about the salsa. It should have been better. I'm going to try the recipe again (in a smaller batch) with a few less peppers this time. Corn tortillas are the best. I thought I had read it wrong. I'm with you on the fish tacos, although I prefer corn tortillas. Not a fan of the flour ones unless it's breakfast burritos.
