It's not like they didn't know the storm was coming. We're getting ice now on top of about 2" of snow. The road in front of our house is unplowed and I haven't been out to see about the back roads...hoping for the best. And, that means we don't lose power tonight. My office didn't get canceled until 4pm today--I was at home, but what good is a 4pm closing? I’d be pissed too. It’s not like they didn’t know the storm was coming.

At 10:00 this morning I was in Rockville and had to white knuckle it home up 270. It took me about 30 minutes to drive the untreated, unplowed back roads home from 270, about 3.5 miles. I didn't see any evidence of treatment between Rockville and Frederick and I have to tell you I'm pissed about it too. We have at least 3 inches so far and it's still snowing now at 3:45. I don't think it's too much to ask to get things right occasionally!! We were supposed to get less than an inch starting at noon.
