Who Am I? Where Am I? What Am I?

I am a native Virginian and I live in the area where I grew up. This is as surprising to me as it may be to you. I'm married to the better-half and he really is the better of the two of us. The better-half and I were married in 1996. I sometimes have to take off my wedding band to remember the exact date.

We live in a neighborhood with big lots (ours is 10 acres of trees, some swamp and lots of wildlife) so we don't actually see our neighbors all that much. The occasional wave is enough for me. I'm not much for the kumbaya at the mailbox.

I work for a local university and create training courses. I like my job and the people I work with. I'm also a graduate student at that university. I hope to finish my masters of education in 2009. Then the party will start.

I started the blog because I really enjoyed reading other blogs and thought I could be entertaining too. The frog in Frog and Goat is me and I do most of the posting. The frog moniker started sometime in college and to this day frogs and toads follow me around the backyard. I honestly don't remember how the frog moniker started. The goat is the better-half and he doesn't post often but plans to start his own blog soon. One of our favorite nonsensical phrases is "make me tasty goat".
