Tonight, in class, we got our first papers back. Sans grade. The professors decided they couldn’t grade us on our life and educational experiences. And, I’ve been really pissed off about that since I heard that spectacular line of BS two weeks ago. Let me count the ways I could have received a grade:
- Turning my paper in on time
- Following the APA style
- Correct punctuation
- Appropriate use of homonyms (because some people didn’t)
- Following instructions
- Being honest and looking into the heart of my life experiences and tying those experiences to informal and formal learning concepts
My paper has some very nice comments on it but I’d rather have a grade I earned, thanksverymuch.
