On Sunday while in Northern VA we saw a gold/tan Escort with two bikes on the roof. On the windows of the Escort were written the words DC->Cali, Lifecycle, SanFran->LA. I have no idea who those two guys were in the Escort. I have thought about them a few times this week wondering where they are in their drive across the country so they can then ride their bikes almost 600 miles for a great cause.
Good luck guys, I’m sure the trip will be awesome.

The painters are still working on the exterior of our building and are nearly done. Today I finally saw the label of the paint can and found out the color is Marmalade. We’re calling it Mustard or “that color of processed cheese”.
The guys painting the building speak Spanish and all day today I’ve been listening to the Spanish radio station. Of course, it is all muffled through the brick wall so it has just been background noise that only gets annoying most of the time. The bad thing about listening to second-hand radio is that I didn’t realize that the station got switched to English so I’ve been sitting here thinking that “Don’t Turn Around” by Ace of Base was dubbed over really well. Then Kid Rock came on and I realized that we were back to English. Kid Rock in Spanish would have been too much.
